OU Degree Classification Calculator

In the midst of exams people may be wondering what grades they need to be pushing for in order to obtain the degreee classification that they want, I've come across the following unofficial degree classification calculator which may be of some use.

Degree Classification Calculator

It appears to be working although I, like the developer, would not want to make any promises of accuracy. It is definitely worth a look if you are interested in how you are progressing or awaiting those grades or also experimenting with course grades to see what the outcomes could be.

Hi Simon,

It's been a while since I looked at this blog, and it appears I last left a comment way back in 2009!

Good to see you're still working hard and nearing the end. I also hope to finish my degree this year, although that's dependent on me passing an SM358 resit in April. I was too busy to revise last year and didn't realise the resit would cost an additional 94 pounds!

Also nice to see you've posted a link to my degree classification calculator. I hope it's been useful - judging by the comments I've had it seems to have helped a few people.

ps It might make you feel better to hear I also got a grade 3 pass for M359, and I work with databases (!), but again I'm using the excuse of not having any time for revision last summer...
