I had the final exam for M257 today, I feel that it went well as everything I revised seemed to appear in the exam, including Aglets (which I read about this morning!!).
What an experience though, I left my house an hour before the exam, headed into bristol and parked near the Wills memorial building (Bristol University) and arrived with about 20 minutes spare, only to find I was at the completely wrong building and I should be at Wills hall which is about 3 miles away. My heart sunk as I really thought I was going to miss the exam, all my previous exams had been in this building and when I saw the phrase wills again I wrongly assumed thats where it meant.
Luckily I had some money on me and I caught a cab, arriving in the exam literally as the announcer called "3 hours, begin now". Not the best way to start an exam but its over now! I also had to walk the 3 and a bit miles back to my car an unnecessary opportunity to reflect.
There is one lesson I will not be forgetting in a hurry, assume nothing!

Sounds scary - I also did the M257 exam today, and also thought it went well, although that's not always a good sign.
I think I got most of the Aglets question correct, seems a bit sneaky adding that question in, as there's very little in the course materials (other than you'll only find them in academia! - heyho).
Fingers crossed !
Hi Phil
I agree, not alot to say other than they are autonomous agents that can self replicate etc etc and that they have state that they carry around with them. I used the example of a price comparisson aglet as that is what was mentioned in the course materials. In all honesty I felt quite lucky really, looking at past papers they asked about servlets. applets and midlets so I made sure i read about aglets.
Hope it goes well for you!

Simon,
The results are there now, well at least mine is! I got a grade 2 pass, 96% OCAS, and 81% OES. A bit gutted, as I was just 4% off a distinction. May be next time.....
Hope you did well, Phil.
Hi Phil
well done! Thanks for the heads up on the results, I came in at 95% OCAS and 80% in the exam so very similar to you. I'm dissapointed I didn't manage a distinction it looks like I'm heading for a 2:1.
